Description
Jackie McLean, known for her passionate and melancholic alto playing, performed at the Satin Doll restaurant in Tokyo on August 6th, 1996, in Japan. This is a complete recording of the show, recorded in official quality, using stereo soundboard recordings from the FM on-air master. First of all, this time Freddie Hubbard was the guest, and McLean’s unique alto voice with a strong sense of song was fused with Hubbard’s wonderful blow, who returned to the stage in the 1990s, to produce a performance full of charm. And this performance is full of the essence of modern jazz, with McLean’s unique phrases exploding everywhere, in the highest quality. DISC 1 : 1. Introduction 2. Will You Still Be Mine? 3.
