Description

“DEFINITIVE LIVE KILLERS” is the pinnacle live album that truly sums up IRON MAIDEN from the Paul Deano era. However, that famous album is not the only sound board from the Diano era. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to present you with a 2-disc soundboard album so that you can collect all the unofficial soundboards at once. IRON MAIDEN is officially a band with advanced archives, and many pro shots and soundboards from the Diano era have been officially reprinted. However, there are two performances other than “DEFINITIVE LIVE KILLERS” at Nakano Sunplaza that are missing. These are the “April 28, 1981 Nijmegen performance (Netherlands)” and “June 26, 1981 Milwaukee performance (USA)” included in this work (incidentally, “June 20, 1980 Rainbow Theater performance”) There are collectors who are trading “March 31, 1981 Reggio Emilia Performance” as a sound board, but although these are excellent, they are just audience recordings). Both are classic sound sources that have been known for a long time, and the Nijmegen performance has produced previously released songs such as “KILLING TIME,” “MADE OF…” and “PHANTOM OF THE OPERA,” and the Milwaukee performance has produced such songs as “MAIDEN AMERICA” and “SUMMERFESTIVAL.” This work is a compilation of the best masters of both days currently discovered. The first disc that appears is “April 28th Nijmegen Performance”. A majestic line sound that comes close to “DEFINITIVE LIVE KILLERS”. It is a wonderful live album that has been loved as a classic for many years. Unfortunately, the full live performance is not recorded, and the order of the songs is different from the actual live performance, but the passionate performance unique to Europe, which had already established its popularity at the time, is engraved on a vivid soundboard (by the way, this live performance It’s also the day before the classic professional shot will appear on BEAT CLUB.You can enjoy this professional shot on “EUROPEAN KILLERS 1981”, so be sure to check it out). The following disc 2 is “Milwaukee performance on June 26th”. This is a live performance performed at the American festival “SUMMERFEST 1981”. This is a sound that is one grade lower than Disc 1 and “DEFINITIVE LIVE KILLERS”, but it is still a sufficiently high quality sound board. Also, this live is valuable in another sense. In fact, most of the American performances of “KILLER WORLD TOUR 1981” were undercards for JUDAS PRIEST and UFO, and were only short shows of about 40 minutes. Under such circumstances, they were able to perform their own full show only 5 times out of a total of 42 performances. The live performance of this work is one of them. Moreover, this “KILLER WORLD TOUR 1981” was IRON MAIDEN’s first world tour, and this year was also the first time they experienced America. Therefore, this work is a valuable soundboard where you can listen to the momentum of America’s first invasion in full size. A masterpiece soundboard album that was overlooked by the official IRON MAIDEN, which is passionate about archiving. Not only are each a wonderful live album, but when combined with “DEFINITIVE LIVE KILLERS”, it is a live set that allows you to see the enthusiasm of Europe, Japan, America, and all over the world with line sound. In particular, the Milwaukee performance on Disc 2 is also a full-show album from the Diano era, of which there are only two, Nakano Sun Plaza. Be sure to complete your soundboard collection with the pinnacle album “DEFINITIVE LIVE KILLERS”! De Vereeniging, Nijmegen, Holland 28th April 1981 STEREO SBD Summerfest Festival, Milwaukee, WI.
