Description

The blissful tour “MAIDEN ENGLAND World Tour 2012-2014” that revived the “Seventh Prophecy” era in the 21st century. A live album that allows you to fully experience the scene where Japan did not come to fruition is now available. This work is recorded in “September 20, 2013 Sao Paulo performance”. It is a superb audience recording that vacuum-packed the whole story. Speaking of “MAIDEN ENGLAND Tour”, it was a long-term project that lasted for three years, which was rare for MAIDEN, and there were also changes to the set list during that time. It’s a good opportunity, so let’s review the whole picture of the world tour. 2012 June 21st – August 18th: North America #1 (34 shows) 2013 May 27th – August 4th: Europe #1 (32 shows) September 3rd – 17th: North America #2 (8 shows) September 20th – October 2nd: South America (6 shows) ←★here★ 2014 {Set change} May 27th – July 5th: Europe #2 (20 shows) ←※ROCK AM RING 2014 This is IRON MAIDEN from 2012 to 2014. Usually, the set changes at the start of the new year, but in the case of the “MAIDEN ENGLAND Tour”, it was the same for 2012/2013. Only the last “Europe #2” set was changed. In addition, the masterpieces before and after the set change each have the best full professional shots, and “ROCK IN RIO 2013” and “ROCK AM RING 2014” also reign as major classics in our shop. The Sao Paulo performance of this work was two days before “ROCK IN RIO 2013”. It was the first day of the “South America” leg. This work recorded at such a site is truly the best. The sound shaking at “Doctor Doctor” before the start of the show makes me anxious, but it seems that the equipment setting was fine-tuned here. Not only does it stabilize by the time the show starts, but when it actually starts, it is suddenly recorded with the best sound. And the sound is super clear and tight. It seems that the venue is outdoors, and even if you listen carefully with headphones, you can’t feel the reverberation at all. The sound spit out from the PA is picked up directly, the core reaches vividly without any sense of distance, and the details are super clear. Although it is clear that it is the audience in terms of enthusiasm and tone between songs, it is a tremendous sound that does not give one step back even when listening to the superb sound board sound of “ROCK IN RIO 2013”. The super clear sound depicts the full show of “MAIDEN ENGLAND Tour” where the masterpieces of the heyday are swamped. To put it bluntly, the set is the same as “ROCK IN RIO 2013”. Here, let’s organize it by comparing it with “ROCK AM RING 2014” after the set change. The Seventh Prophecy (5 songs) Moonchild / Can I Play With Madness / Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son / The Clairvoyant (★) / The Evil That Man Do Others (12 songs) Steel Maiden: Phantom Of The Opera / Iron Maiden / Running Free (★) Magical Mark: The Prisioner / The Number Of The Beast / Run To The Hills Others: The Trooper / 2 Minutes To Midnight / Aces High / Wasted Years / Afraid To Shoot Strangers (★) / Fear Of The Dark *Note: The ★ mark indicates songs that were not performed at the end of the tour (2014). …And so on. “Running Free” and “The Clairvoyant” are classics, but “Afraid To Shoot Strangers” is rare. It’s a masterpiece from “Fear of the Dark,” but in fact it hasn’t been played since Bruce Dickinson returned. Moreover, after the set change, it fell off, and it hasn’t been played at all since then. The thick six-person version of “Afraid To Shoot Strangers” can only be heard in 2012/2013, either later or later. If you think about it, the 1980s “SEVENTH TOUR OF A SEVENTH TOUR” did not come to Japan, and the reprinted “MAIDEN ENGLAND Tour” did not come to Japan either. We were unable to experience the wonderful world of “The Seventh Prophecy”. I feel like I know the show with many professional shots, but I don’t know the true meaning of the scene. This work is a live album that allows you to enjoy that “experience” with the highest quality. Of course, the historical masterpiece professional shot is important for beginners, but this work is the best one for “next”. The best audience recording of “September 20, 2013 Sao Paulo performance”. Apparently the venue is outdoors, and the sound with zero reverberation components is super clear and super tight. Even when listened to alongside the superb soundboard audio from “ROCK IN RIO 2013” two days later, it is still amazing. The six-person version of “Afraid To Shoot Strangers” is also extremely rare, but the set of “MAIDEN ENGLAND Tour” which has only masterpieces is super powerful. You can fully experience the world of “The Seventh Prophecy” which did not come to Japan. Anhembi Arena, Sao Paulo, Brasil 20th Septepmber 2013 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Disc 1(61:59) 1. Doctor Doctor 2.
