Description

~The Detroit performance from the treasured recording of “The Idiot Tour” where David Bowie participated on keyboards for only a short period from March to April 1977! ~The treasured recording of the live performance held at the Masonic Temple in Detroit on March 25, 1977, which was the first Detroit performance since the Stooges, from “The Idiot Tour” held in conjunction with the release of the masterpiece “Idiot”, is now available! It has been digitized directly from the master cassette, and although it is mono, it is well balanced and recorded with good sound quality with a stable feeling. The tour was performed with an arrangement that makes use of Bowie’s chorus and keyboard, and the ironclad rhythm section of the Sayles Brothers who later became members of Tin Machine, and the guitar of Ricky Gardiner who also participated in “Lust for Life” and Bowie’s “Low”, and it is recorded completely from the opening to the end. The set list included two songs from The Idiot, three from Lust for Life, the album released about six months later, and all other songs by the Stooges. You can also enjoy Bowie’s chorus work, such as “No Fun,” which features a female chorus and an R&B-oriented arrangement! 01.Intro 02.Raw Power 03.TV Eye 04.Dirt 05.1969 06.Turn Blue 07.Funtime 08.Gimmie Danger 09.No Fun 10.Sister Midnight 11.I Need Somebody 12.Search And Destroy 13.I Wanna Be Your Dog 14.Tonight 15.Some Weird Sin Iggy Pop – Vocals David Bowie – Keyboard and Vocal Ricky Gardiner – Guitar Tony Sales – Bass Hunt Sales – Drums
