Description

A live performance at the Werchter Festival in 1987 recorded in high quality stereo soundboard recording from FM broadcast sound source! A live performance at the Werchter Festival in Belgium from the European tour held after the release of the eighth album “Blah Blah Blah” was recorded in high quality stereo soundboard recording from FM broadcast sound source! It’s a shame that three of the 14 songs performed on the day are not included, but they are recorded from the FM broadcast sound source, and the two guitars are panned left and right, so you can enjoy the clear sound with impeccable mix and balance! Only the ending part of “Sweet Sixteen” is missing. Following on from the Japan tour in April of the same year, this tour featured Kevin Armstrong on guitar, Seamus Begen on keyboards and guitar, Andy Anderson on drums, and a new bassist, Barry Adamson, who had just left P. Hill Butcher and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Unlike the hard rock-oriented sound of the tour the following year, this tour made use of Seamus Begen’s keyboards and included songs from the new album “Blah Blah Blah” at the time as well as songs by the Stooges. You can enjoy this superb live performance with tight performances and arrangements that are faster in tempo overall, in superb sound quality!
