Description
From the Japan-Australia tour in June 1983, the high-quality stereo soundboard FM sound source of the Australian performance immediately after the performance in Japan plus the 1987 Philadelphia performance! On June 29th, the second day of the Australian tour that started six days after the legendary four-day first visit to Japan, a live performance held at the Capitol Theater in Sydney, Australia, which has a capacity of about 2,100 people, was recorded with a high-quality stereo soundboard recording. This sound source was broadcast by a local FM station, and there were three sources by air check so far, but the source used in this work is the one rebroadcast in 2020, and the sound quality has been significantly improved, and the number of songs is the longest ever, eight songs. Both the mix and balance are recorded with impeccable, powerful and clear sound quality. Don’t miss the medley of “No Fun” and the Velvet Underground cover “I’m Waiting For The Man”, covers of “Fortune Teller”, “Run Like A Villain” from “ZOMBIE BIRDHOUSE”, and “I’m A Conservative” that has never been heard on air check sources! In addition, the live performance held at The Spectrum, an indoor stadium in Philadelphia, on January 20, 1987, the first day of the “North American Tour 1987”, was recorded with a good mono audience recording. It has been digitally transferred directly from the master cassette, and although it is mono, the vocals are large, and each part is recorded with a very balanced and clear sound quality. There is a missing part in the latter half of “Real Wild Child”. Featuring Seamus Begen’s keyboards, which resonate through the air, including numbers from “Blah Blah Blah,” and an arrangement with a faster tempo overall, the tight performance is electrifying.
