Coincidentally, 1991 was the year the great Miles Davis passed away. The Blood Brothers of Herbie and Shorter, with whom they had spent a lot of time together performing live, were joined by Stanley Clarke and Omar Hakim to form the so-called Super Quartet, who made their debut live performance. In 1991, Herbie and Shorter spent a lot of time together, mainly performing as part of the two quartets, but then the news of their mentor, the great Miles Davis, suddenly passed away… Three months before that, this legendary Super Quartet, consisting of Herbie, Shorter, Stanley Clarke and Omar Hakim, performed live in Munich, Germany on July 5th, 1991, and has yet to be officially recorded. This recording is recorded in superb quality by those involved and has been carefully mastered by the label.
