Description
The latest British live album is set to be released. This work contains the “Manchester performance on June 30, 2016”. Our shop has a very popular collaboration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, “ROYAL ALBERT HALL 2016”, but this work is the next day, a regular concert with only the band. This work is an original master that is not available anywhere, given to us by the recorder who attended the Manchester performance. You may think, “It’s the latest one year ago?”, but in fact HEART is currently closed. This summer, Ann Wilson is on a solo tour and there is no activity as HEART. This work, which contains such a memorial show, is a truly wonderful audience sound. It is not the type that is “like a sound board”, but the neat musical tones reach straight and the air feeling is extremely clear. It is a sound that can be clearly felt even in detail with a transparent transparency. In fact, this sound is very important. It is also a big part of “British live”. To help you understand this, let’s take a look back at their live performances since they resumed activities in 2002 (although this will be a bit long).・2002: North America (33 performances)・2003: North America (43 performances)・2004: North America (56 performances) + Europe (10 performances)・2005: North America (7 performances)・2006: North America (16 performances)・2007: North America (25 performances)・2008: North America (43 performances)・2009: North America (42 performances)・2010: North America (46 performances)・2011: North America (69 performances) + Oceania (7 performances)・2012: North America (54 performances)・2013: North America (73 performances)・2014: North America (69 performances)・2015: North America (70 performances) + New Zealand (3 performances)・2016: North America (66 performances) + UK (4 performances)←★Here★This is their journey over the past 15 years. The number of performances is a bit off because it was put together in a hurry, but the bias towards North America is obvious. Speaking of concerts across the ocean, there are only a few in Oceania and Europe. Yes, this was the first UK performance in 12 years since 2004. The sound of this work firmly conveys the breathing of the audience as they savor the emotions of those 12 years. It is not a recording covered in fuss (never!), but the applause that savors each song is heartwarming. Anne also repeats, “I’m back in the UK!”, and the emotion she feels about it is conveyed in a real way. This emotion is dazzling to us Japanese. After all, in 2001, Anne was the only one to visit Japan at the Beatles tribute, and before that, we had to go back to 1994, the era of their big hits. If they were to visit Japan again, we would be able to experience the joy of that time and the miraculous atmosphere on the scene, even if only for a moment. This show was about a week before the release of “BEAUTIFUL BROKEN”. The show alternated between new songs and 70s-80s repertoire, and the clear sound was outstanding. However, it is a live album that is more moving than anything else, a live album that touches the heart and cannot be experienced with any other recording. Two consecutive “Crazy On You” and “Barracuda” that still roar with a powerful beautiful voice. And the encore LED ZEPPELIN rush… Because it is an audience recording, you can be present at the “scene”. You can be with the audience who share the same feelings. Even the fact that you have given up after waiting and waiting and waiting has become a memory.
