Description
The Paris performance on September 25, 1973 was recorded with the best audience recording that could be mistaken for a sound board. (Only the last Halfway Between Heaven And Earth is different from the one in Paris) You can fully enjoy the 66-polarized ensemble with an ideal sound quality that is very pleasant to the ear and stable from beginning to end. In 1973, we performed live from January to April, signed with a record company in June, performed live again from June to September, and then recorded an album from October to November, so this time. This Paris performance is very valuable as it is the last live show before the recording of the first album. The set list was very attractive only at this time, and they played Matching Mall’s God Song, Part of the Dance, Lything And Gracing, Oh, Len’s Nature!, and they often performed on stage during National Health. The album includes a cover version of Charles Penrose’s 1920s comedy song, The Laughing Policeman, which was released in 1999, making it a very varied album that will please fans. (The flow of Lything And Gracing ~Oh, Len’s Nature! may be the opposite, but…) Needless to say, the ensemble was truly wonderful, and it was an amazing band performance in which each individual’s capture of the beat was perfectly synchronized. I just take my hat off to them, and I am once again impressed by the members’ ability to handle such a complex piece of music. A valuable document of Hatfield and the North, the pinnacle of Canterbury. Introducing a must-have title for all progressive rock fans.
