Description

The era of Axel’s lone struggle is now filled with nostalgia. The super and best video is now available. This work was filmed at the Camden performance on November 26, 2011. It is that transcendental audience shot. [Transcendence quality that embodies the ultimate in audience seating photography] Anyway, the biggest point of this work is its stunning quality. At the time, this video was a big hit as a gift title, but this one is really, really intense! It’s not “intense”. It’s “Intense!” What’s amazing about it is that Axel is so beautiful that he’s almost dead. The shooting position was probably about 3rd row from the front. You might be a few rows further down, but in any case, it’s a very front seat right below the stage looking up at the members. Then, use digital zoom to take a super close-up shot of the accelerator. I’m sure there wasn’t a time when everyone was taking pictures with their smartphones, but I was worried that Axel might hit me if I was filming in front of him like this. The beauty of the footage is that of a professional shot. However, this work is far, far, far hotter than the average professional shot! When it comes to the forefront of GUNS N’ ROSES, it’s common to feel noisy, frenzied, and chaotic, and this work strongly conveys that. Please don’t get me wrong here. This film is not shaky or shaky (at all!), nor is the audio full of screaming (absolutely!). On the contrary, it is a work of craftsmanship that keeps the accelerator firmly in the center of the screen and the sound is clear. However, the moment Axel appears, there is a tremor, and when the pyro explodes, you can feel the vibrations through your skin. When it first appeared, it received rave reviews such as “It’s so amazing that you can’t believe it’s real,” “It’s more powerful than a bad pro shot,” and “There’s no better way to enjoy Guns than this.” It hasn’t faded at all even after 10 years. While it has the beauty and visibility of a professional shot, it also conveys the excitement of being in the front row with a surreal feeling that is more like an attraction than a video production. It is one that embodies the extreme north of audience photography. In fact, the photographer of this work is a person who was all the rage in the 2010s (the era when this expression has finally become commonplace), and he has shot amazing videos in Camden such as ASIA, YES, DEF LEPPARD, STYX, FOREIGNER, etc. It was repeating. As some of you may remember, this work was one of the special ones in that shocking collection. [About 3 hours of full show spelled out with a super-class experience] It is already a super masterpiece that you can stare at forever just because of the quality, but the show drawn with its visual beauty is also amazing. Axel’s solo struggle period lasted about 15 years, and the members changed during that time. Now, let’s check the show’s position from that change. LINE-UP A: 2001 (4 performances) Tobias → replaced by Richard Feetus LINE-UP B: 2002 (23 performances) Buckethead → replaced by Ron Sahl LINE-UP C: May-September 2006 ( 43 performances) Brian Mantia → replaced by Frank Ferrer LINE-UP D: October 2006-2007 (52 performances) [“CHINESE DEMOCRACY” released in November 2008] Robin Fink → replaced by DJ Ashba LINE-UP E: 2009-2014 (208 performances) ←★Here★ This is the 5 lineup from the era when they were nicknamed “Holo GUNS.” The Camden performance of this work is the 100th performance of the final “LINE-UP E” that DJ Ashba joined. This was the 16th concert from the end of the “CHINESE DEMOCRACY TOUR”. In this work, you can fully experience such a show for about 2 hours and 50 minutes. When it comes to live shows from the “Hitori GUNS” era, I think the easiest way to understand is to use the official work “APPETITE FOR DEMOCRACY 3D” as a reference, so let’s organize the sets while comparing them. APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION (7 songs) ・Welcome To The Jungle/It’s So Easy/Mr. Brownstone/Rocket Queen/Sweet Child O’ Mine/Nightrain/Paradise City USE YOUR ILLUSION I&II (6 songs) ・Estranged/Live And Let Die/ You Could Be Mine/November Rain/Don’t Cry/Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door CHINESE DEMOCRACY (7 songs)・Chinese Democracy/This I Love/Street Of Dreams/Better・APPETITE FOR DEMOCRACY Songs that cannot be seen in 3D: Sorry/Shackler’s Revenge/Madagascar Others (3 songs)・G N’ R LIES: Patience・APPETITE FOR DEMOCRACY Songs that cannot be seen in 3D: Sonic Reducer/Whole Lotta Rosie…and so on. The basic structure of the show and the “APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION” and “USE YOUR ILLUSION I & II” numbers are very similar to the official video, but the details are quite different. “Sorry,” “Shackler’s Revenge,” and “Madagascar” from “CHINESE DEMOCRACY” were also performed, and the covers included not only AC/DC’s “Whole Lotta Rosie,” but also the rare DEAD BOYS song “Whole Lotta Rosie,” which was only played a few times during this period. Sonic Reducer” can also be witnessed. In any case, the highest quality and the most powerful experience. In the first place, audience shots have an excellent sense of presence, but there aren’t many videos that make you feel like you’re “really in the place”… or rather, I don’t remember anything else. This is truly a masterpiece that I would like to call the “first attraction shot.” Live at Susquehanna Bank Center, Camden, New Jersey, USA 26th November 2011 AMAZING SHOT!!!! Disc 1 1.
