Description
This work contains the “July 20, 2017 New York City performance”. It is a special concert held at the traditional venue “Apollo Theater”. This show is a little different from a normal live show, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the release of the revolutionary album “APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION”. It was a special performance that only special guests of the American net / satellite radio station “SiriusXM” could participate in. And the sound board that “SiriusXM” aired is the core of “APOLLO THEATER 2017”. After all, it is the first full sound board since Slash & Duff McKagan returned. The whole world is in the midst of being shocked, but that’s why a fan-made work that utilizes this superb sound has also appeared. That is this work. This show also features partial professional shots, staff shots, and audience shots along with the sound board, but this work was created with multi-camera specifications, making full use of such footage. Moreover, the quality is on a different level from a simple “fan-made multi-camera”! The quality of the footage used is not half-baked, and the visual beauty of the staff’s footage is a pro shot. Of course, the audio has been replaced with the broadcast stereo sound board, and the multi-camera is truly impressive, as if you were watching an official pro shot work. Unfortunately, there are no videos of “New Rose”, “This I Love”, “Coma”, “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door (part of)”, “Nightrain”, and “Sorry”, but that is only a small part of the overall picture of over three hours. These parts are also connected with still images, and it is the highest peak full video to witness a Shar concert. The show depicted with that quality is amazing. Since the theme was “30th anniversary of APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION”, the album was expected to be reproduced, but when the lid was opened, it was the usual set. However, even though the show composition was the same as usual, the mood was not at all the same! The regular concerts of the “NOT IN THIS LIFETIME TOUR” are all stadium-sized, but this day was a special club gig. The “Apollo Theater,” the venue, is a traditional venue, but its capacity is only about 1,500 people. The small space is filled with power and rock that drives tens of thousands of people crazy, and it is incredibly dense. The full show of the “NOT IN THIS LIFETIME TOUR” that unfolds in that closed room feeling for more than three hours… You can also clearly witness AC/DC’s “Whole Lotta Rosie,” which has recently been played, SOUNDGAEDEN’s “Black Hole Sun” dedicated to Chris Cornell, and “Melissa” dedicated to Gregg Allman. This is a masterpiece that represents the “NOT IN THIS LIFETIME TOUR” by adding the finest “scenery” to the stereo sound board that has shocked the world. Although the content is the same as disc 4 of “APOLLO THEATER 2017,” the only way to see such amazing footage is for as many people as possible to see it.
