Description

Glenn Frey, one of the founders of the Eagles, who worked with Don Henley to the end, passed away in January 2016 at the age of 67 due to complications. After the Eagles broke up in 1980, he released his first solo album, “No Fun Around,” in 1982. The live performance at the benefit concert “The City of Hope” held at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater in California on October 18th, which also served as an album promotion, was recorded using stereo soundboard sound source from the radio on-air master. The missing part at the beginning is completed by filling in the good audience source, and the set is a slightly compact version of the solo tour at this time. The set included numbers from “No Fun Around” and, of course, Eagles numbers. They also performed before Fleetwood Mac, and Boz Scaggs and Joe Walsh, who had previously performed, joined in towards the end, making this a rare live performance in official quality. 01.
