Description

A live performance in Chicago on February 13, 1987, with a soundboard recording and a great sense of realism! The first half is a rap, or rather a narration, or a solo song, which is unique to Gil, but after the band appears, the performance gradually begins. Gil had not released an album for a while since the release of Moving Target in 1982, but he performed live with the members from that time, and the blow of saxophonist Ron Holloway’s Alien (Hold On To Your Dreams) is particularly goosebump-inducing. Don’t miss the fact that famous songs such as The Bottle and Washington D.C. are played by the band Amnesia Express at that time. And although it is an audience recording, the sound check is also included. It is very rare to see Gil proceeding while instructing the band on chords, and it shows that Gil has an outstanding sense not only as a poetry reader but also as a musician. And the sound source of the 1986 Glastonbury Festival also includes all four existing songs. It is a very wonderful compilation.
