Description

This CD contains the original reel master recordings from a live performance at Village Gate in New York at the time of the release of the 1976 album It’s Your World. It showcases the elegance of 17th Street, the funkiness of It’s Your World, and the absolute live sound that can be said to be Jamiroquai’s original. It also contains one of Gil’s two soundboard recordings from 1978, a live performance on January 16th in Berkeley. This is a live performance before the release of the album Secrets, but Brian Jackson, the bearer of the jazz-funk sound, is firmly present, and includes the classic song The Bottle, making this another great live performance.
