This is an unreleased live performance by Georges Arvanitas Trio, one of the best jazz pianists in France, recorded in 1991 at Studio 104, Maison de la Radio in Paris, France, using the finest stereo soundboard recordings broadcast locally in recent years. This is a fascinating performance by the trio members formed in the 1960s by Charles Sodrat, who participated in the recording of the famous album “Ducreté Thomson” by Jackie Samson and Zoot Sims, and includes six songs in total, including Charles Mingus’ “Fables Of Faubus,” John Lewis’ “Django,” and Duke Ellington’s “In A Sentimental Mood.” You can fully enjoy the wonderful live performance of the Georges Arvanitas Trio with the finest sound. 1.
