Description

FAB Production, which is familiar to Beatles video buffs, previously released a video compilation of George’s Beatles from the end of his career to around Concert for Bangladesh. The main Delaney & Bonnie Copenhagen has yet to be discovered with improved image quality and the longest version, so the image quality is a little rough, and the version that was familiar in the past that ends in the middle of “Comin’ Home” is included. Now that the upper version “COPENHAGEN 12TH DECEMBER 1969” DVD has become so popular, it may feel nostalgic. At the time this was released, only one song, “Poor Elijah”, was available on the internet for the upper version, and it’s funny now that they were able to include that one additionally. As for other videos, the first half is a compilation of footage of George from 1969 before Copenhagen. Although the news footage from when he and Patty were arrested for marijuana is an unpleasant scene, George looks very dignified. There’s also news footage of Bob Dylan going to see him perform on the Isle of Wight (it’s funny how FAB Production credited him with “Isle of White” instead of “Isle of Wight”). It’s also funny that it’s a shorter version than the current one. Rather, the footage of George and Patty who came to see off Dylan as he returned to America after the concert may be surprisingly rare. Speaking of Bangladesh-related videos, FAB Production has compiled the longest version of the press conference for the charity concert. Therefore, the scene seen at the beginning of the movie of the same event is recorded longer, and here it shows Allen Klein, who was the manager of the Beatles other than Paul at the time (a press conference was held in his office). ) also appeared. And what is surprisingly rare in this second half is the image of George watching Carly Simon’s concert in Central Park in 1971 with Art Garfunkel from his sleeve. Although it is a short scene, it is a valuable video where you can see the encounter between the two giants who led the rock world in the 1960s in the United States and the United Kingdom. As you can see, the overall content is for enthusiasts, but that’s why you should try George’s rare video compilation from 1969 to 1972. GEORGE HARRISON – REMASTERED ARCHIVES 1969 – 1972 (DVD) 1.
