Description
After the release of the 1977 album “Silent Storm”, the UK tour began on New Year’s Day, and this DVD contains a complete recording of the performance in Dundee, Scotland on January 13th, from a recently unearthed audience master, which was of good quality for that time. It was digitized from the master cassette, and although there are some sound cuts due to tape deterioration, the overall sound is good. From this tour, Chester Thompson joined as the second drummer, and the performance became tighter and more toned. Although the live album “Seconds Out” was also produced, the performance was hard and aggressive, which was different from the impression, and this is the characteristic of the first edition of this tour. In particular, the twin drum part is flashy, and Chester Thompson also plays hard as if to match it. The set includes not only the numbers from “Storm of Silence,” but also past hits such as “All In A Mouse’s Night,” which is rare on this tour, and the 24-minute “Supper’s Ready,” with Phil singing just like Gabriel.
