This approximately one-hour recording captures the March 1st Passaic performance from the North American tour supporting the release of 1974’s “Moonlit Knight” on a recently unearthed stereo soundboard. Recorded directly from the master mixer, this unprocessed sound is incredibly realistic, clearly reproducing even the subtle nuances of the band’s ensemble. While this recording is for historical purposes and only captures the first half of the show, it includes four tracks from the album, plus “The Musical Box” and “Watcher of the Skies,” two tracks that would go on to become live staples. While the official “GENESIS LIVE” recording is known for its performances from the same period, this recording, taken later, showcases the band’s more refined performances, delivering a powerful sound that fans will want to check out.
