Description

GENESIS reached its peak in 1987 with the astronomical hit of “INVISIBLE TOUCH”. The highest peak sound board is an unexpected upgrade. What is recorded in this work is “Berlin performance on June 8, 1987”. It is the super best stereo sound board recording. Speaking of “INVISIBLE TOUCH Tour”, it is the peak era of the peak that is also left in the official video “LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM”. First of all, let’s check the position of the show in its progress. 1986《“INVISIBLE TOUCH” released on June 6th》・September 18th-October 24th: North America #1 (29 performances)・November 23rd-December 20th: Oceania (19 performances)1987・January 15th – March 1st: North America #2 (25 performances), March 13th – 19th: Japan (6 performances), May 10th – 19th: Europe #1 (6 performances), May 22nd-31st: North America #3 (7 performances) June 2nd-July 4th: Europe #2 (20 performances) ←★Here★ This is GENESIS in 1986/1987. Their second (and probably last) performance in Japan and their only Oceania leg were also realized, and a gigantic tour that truly conquered the entire globe was carried out. The official video “LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM” was produced from the last four days, but the Berlin performance of this work was a little before that. Although it was the same “Europe #2” leg, it was the 5th concert held about a month ago. Such a Berlin performance is also famous for being broadcast on the radio, and its air check has produced a number of existing groups and has become one of the masterpieces of the “INVISIBLE TOUCH Tour”. This work is also an FM broadcast, but it is a “top” work that has updated the highest peak in length and quality. Why can you say it’s “top”? It lies in the origin of the sound source. Many of the traditional previously released groups were based on air checks, but this work is direct from the broadcast master of Puri FM. It is also recorded from a digital master with zero deterioration, rather than LP recording, which is easily influenced by conditions. In other words, the original master sound has no room for scratches or hiss, let alone reception noise. In fact, this master first appeared in 2009, and at that time it was highly praised by a specialized magazine, saying, “This is a sound image that would not be strange even if it was released as an official product.” Twelve years after its first appearance, the long-awaited permanent preservation has been realized, and we have also refined it to bring it from “official grade” to “ultimate.” Of course, we did not aim to increase the sound pressure in a reckless manner, but rather made careful adjustments to maintain the balance and pursue an even more elegant “feeling of the work.” Since the original was completely official, it was not a one-shot major modification, but a series of fine adjustments were made, but what is especially easy to understand is the good sound and the thrusting feeling of the bass drum. The original sound was recorded with a thick reverberation in the mid-bass, typical of the 1980s, but this work maintains that feeling of the time while keeping the outline clean. The attack feel of the bass drum, which was on the verge of distortion, was also made natural. As a result, each note of the performance stood out more without being overpowered by sound pressure, and the ensemble gained a three-dimensional feel along with the depth of the silent parts. In other words, it has been raised from “excavation official level” to “official famous record level”. What is depicted on the transcendental sound board that has achieved the ultimate evolution is the full show of the dazzling “INVISIBLE TOUCH Tour” at its climax. The aforementioned official video “LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM” was an incomplete version with some cuts, but this work is a full set. Let’s organize the contents by comparing them here. 70’s – Medley: In The Cage (★) / In That Quiet Earth (★) / Afterglow (★) – Others: Drum Duet / Los Endos 80’s – Duke: Turn It On Again – Abacab – Genesis: Mama / That’s All/Home By The Sea/Second Home By The Sea ・Invisible Touch: Domino/The Brazilian/Land Of Confusion/Tonight, Tonight, Tonight/Throwing It All Away/Invisible Touch *Note: “★” marks are official videos A song that cannot be heard on “LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM”. …and it looks like this. Not only does it include the 70’s medley that was cut in “LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM,” but it also includes the entire 3 minutes of the encore wait. There was a fade cut in “On Again”, but this work is completely seamless). “The Brazilian”, which is exclusive to this tour, is also valuable, but more than that, the performance that shows off the sense of balance, confidence and momentum with a large selection of “INVISIBLE TOUCH” numbers is dazzling. This is a live album where the “power of a goddess’s smile” that makes all of her works a hit and that everything she does succeeds comes out of the speakers. Speaking of 1986, the whole family was rocking the charts with Phil’s solo, MIKE + THE MECHANICS, and even Peter Gabriel’s “SO” and GTR. The GENESIS family occupied the music industry beyond the heyday of one band. This work is a super masterpiece that allows you to fully experience the peak show of the main band on a transcendental sound board that exceeds the official one. An absolute masterpiece that is unavoidable no matter how you listen to it from any perspective. Superb stereo soundboard recording of “Berlin performance on June 8, 1987” which symbolizes INVISIBLE TOUCH TOUR. It has been converted into a CD with zero deterioration from the pre-FM digital master, and has been further refined through meticulous mastering, making it the highest-quality album in history. The parts that were cut in the previous releases are uncut, and the 70’s medley that could not be heard in the official video “LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM” is also completely included. This is a timeless masterpiece that serves as a “replacement for the official works of the heyday.” Live at Reichstagsgelande, Berlin, Germany 8th June 1987 STEREO SBD(UPGRADE) Disc 1 (64:52) 1.
