Description
G-Force was a short-lived band in Gary Moore’s long career, with only one album and a single, and a one-off gig on the UK tour supporting Whitesnake from June 1st to 24th, 1980, so the recordings left behind are limited due to their short activity. Meanwhile, this title is a complete recording of the June 15th Preston performance, the second half of the 1980 UK tour supporting Whitesnake, from the opening announcement to the rare Thin Lizzy Toughest Street In Town, all 9 songs, 40 minutes, from the good audience master at the time. The sound quality is decent, with little hiss noise, and Gary’s guitar and vocals are the core, and Tony Newton’s thick bass sound is captured with full force, especially Parisienne Walkways, with a very clear sound. And the numbers Because Of Your Love, Dancin’, You Kissed Me Sweetly, and You are unique to this period, and many fans say that Gary’s best performance was with G-FORCE, so this is a must-listen item. 1.
