Description

The live performance at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, Australia on May 9th, which was the last chapter of the 1971 tour as the original members, was recorded almost completely from the good audience master tape at the time. It was recorded from the original master of the sound source that had been partially distributed until now, and contains the performance at the outdoor rock festival where they performed with Purple and others. And although it was the final tour in Australia after the first performance in Japan, which was said to have already decided to disband, the tension within the band brought about an unusual tension, and here too they performed with a truly demonic energy. And the ingenious rhythm section of Fraser & Simon, Paul’s piercing and passionate vocals in “Be My Friend”, and Kossoff’s intensely sad guitar work are must-listen. 01. The Stealer/02.
