Description

A representative pro shot from the “MR. MOONLIGHT” era, when Lou Gramm returned, has been decided to be released. Lou Gramm, who left the band once after “INSIDE INFORMATION”, returned to the band in 1992. After that, he remained with the band until 2003, but there were very few works, only three new songs on the best album “THE VERY BEST AND BEYOND” and the album “MR. MOONLIGHT”. This work was recorded during the “MR. MOONLIGHT” tour, “Mexico City performance on June 7, 1995”. In other words, this work is a multi-camera pro shot that captures the final period when FOREIGNER + Lou were shining as a creative active band while returning to melodic hard. The quality is amazing. Of course, it is an analog shoot due to the era, but the master freshness is outstanding and there is no distortion or twisting at all. Although the screen has a slightly stronger highlight than “official grade”, the appearance of the time is vividly displayed. Of course, it’s a perfectly professional multi-camera, and the sound is close to your ears with almost no cheers. With such quality, it’s a melodic hard utopia that sums up the brilliance of active bands and the golden age. It has a lineup of big hits from the debut album “FOREIGNER” to “AGENT PROVOCATEUR”, all of which are top 40 hits, and seven of them are top 10. It’s exactly the “Juke Box Hero” itself. Although the four songs from “MR. MOONLIGHT”, which was swept away by the heyday of grunge, are hard to call hits, the contents are all masterpieces that are a full return to melodic hard. Since then, there have been no new songs or new works from “FOREIGNER + Lou”, and this is the end point. It is filled with a brilliance that is comparable to the classic songs of the past. “FOREIGNER + Lou” who sings and plays such a luxurious set is wonderful. Although Lou succumbed to a brain tumor in 1997, he did not show any sign of such a future here, and the golden age was intact. He generously showed off his taut and glossy singing voice, and poured a sense of dynamism into the beautiful melody with intense action. The only members of the golden age were Lou and Mick Jones, but the members who backed up the two were also talented and had no problems with stability or dynamism. In particular, bassist Bruce Targon was literally “Lou’s right-hand man” who acted with Lou’s solo and SHADOW KING, and although he looks like a new face, the combination is perfect. “FOREIGNER + Lou” showed off their pride as an active band while returning to melodic hard. What we see here is a summary and forward movement that is unique to the “MR. MOONLIGHT” era. This is a film that allows you to enjoy that final brilliance in a multi-camera pro shot of about 1 hour and 40 minutes. A masterpiece video that seems to have transformed “THE VERY BEST AND BEYOND” and “MR. MOONLIGHT” into a stage. Please enjoy this wonderful melody and rock to the fullest.
