Description
The official live album is back. This is an FM album from the performance at the Reading Festival on August 24, 2002. At the time, the band was creating their 4th album “ONE BY ONE” and it was two months before the release. The performance was held with the pre-release single “ALL MY LIFE” finally coming out. This work, which contains the performance of FOO FIGHTERS riding such a wave, was broadcast on the traditional “RADIO ONE”, and the broadcast source also includes a radio DJ at the beginning. As it is a 21st century radio broadcast, the quality is exactly the official class great sound board. Just as the official version is spoken of in terms of the quality of the contents rather than the quality of the sound, this work also does not need to talk about the detailed characteristics of the sound. It is a live album in which the tough ensemble runs wild like a thick rough rope, and it is reproduced with the highest quality sound. Speaking of this era, there is also the official album “EVERYWHERE BUT HOME”, but you can also listen to “This Is A Call” and “Disenchanted Lullaby” that you can’t hear there. However, the life of this work is the violence, not the quality or rarity. As mentioned above, this live is before the release of “ONE BY ONE”, but they can’t help but want to hit the audience with new songs. The pre-release single “All My Life” explodes from the beginning, but after that, they hit the new songs one after another, such as “Disenchanted Lullaby”, “Times Like These”, and “Low”. Including “Tired Of You” which was not broadcast, about half of the new work was shown. It doesn’t matter whether the fans know it or not, it’s a live where they write the songs they want to write and play them as they want. The “Goddess’ Smile Power” is at full throttle, and the energy that only a band that is on the groove has is bursting. Moreover, when it comes to “Disenchanted Lullaby” and “Low” (although not the premiere), the freshness of songs that have not yet been played at a few live shows is explosive. Of course, that momentum is also present in the past repertoire, and they push back with ferocious power. And the audience, who are not pushed back, are also amazing. They push back while intoxicated by the performance of the time. Especially amazing is “Breakout”. The huge chorus that hits back against the explosive band performance is a must-listen powerful force. The band’s fierce attack that is full of the feeling of having made a masterpiece. And the power of the audience that pushes back with a bang, whether it is a big hit song or a new song that they are hearing for the first time. It is a masterpiece of a stereo sound board that overflows with the “power of the times” from both sides. It is a scorching hot live album that is just burning. One that will make the hot summer even hotter. Live at Reading Festival, UK 24th August 2002 STEREO SBD 1. All My Life 2. Breakout 3. This Is A Call 4. Learn To Fly 5. Disenchanted Lullaby 6.
