Compiled from the precious 1970 live sound source of the early Faces when Ronnie Lane was enrolled, all from master quality and soundboard sources. Both songs are mastered using radio recordings from the same year’s UK tour, and young Rod Stewart, Ron Wood, and others put on a thrilling performance. The somber set that was unique to this period, before his breakthrough with the big hit of “Stay With Me” the following year, is also attractive, and the passionate performance throughout the album is definitely worth listening to. 01.
