EW&F resumed touring in the summer of 2016 and visited Japan for the “BLUE NOTE JAZZ FESTIVAL IN JAPAN” in memory of Maurice White, a central member of the band who passed away on February 3, 2015. Then in 2017, they came to Japan for their long-awaited Japan tour, and the 99-minute complete recording of their performance at the Nippon Budokan on May 22 was recorded using digital audience recording. First of all, this live performance at the Nippon Budokan, their first in 11 years, was recorded from the center of the second row of the arena, and the clear sound and direct feeling will give you goosebumps.
