Description
In 1962, when the album “Left Alone” was released with Herbie on piano, the live performance at New York’s Greenwich Village also included “Oh Lady Be Good” for the first time. Several co-stars of Dolphy and Herbie have been discovered, but this one may be the most interesting. From the opening song, “Miss Ann,” Dolphy’s alto is bursting with flames. Speaking of Dolphy and Herbie co-starring together, “The Legendary Illinois Concert” is probably the most famous, but while that one lets you enjoy Dolphy as a band mass, here you can enjoy Dolphy as an alto player and soloist to his heart’s content. You can enjoy it. If you love Gorigori Dollfie, you’re missing out if you don’t listen to this.
