This 2 hour 26 minute recording of the performance by Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page at the London Albert Hall on September 20th, one of two performances in the UK from the now legendary 1983 “ARMS Concert” in support of the late Ronnie Lane, is a stereo soundboard recording from the broadcast master. First of all, this recording was broadcast over five nights on the Japanese FM radio program “Sound Market” in 1984, and was recorded in perfect condition, including DJs and commercials between songs, and is of excellent quality for an aircheck take from that time. And the fact that those three great guitarists stood on the same stage only once became a big topic at the time, which is probably why it was broadcast for such a long time. Of course, this concert was not only performed by them, but also by top-class veteran popular musicians from the UK such as Steve Winwood, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Kenny Jones, Andy Fairweather Low, Chris Stinton, and Simon Phillips, who supported the three. In addition, some of Clapton’s parts were cut on the American radio show disc, and the leaked professional shot footage is not complete at 112 minutes, so this title, which reproduces this historic night, is a gem with high documentary value.
