Description
A two-disc set recording the live performance on November 2nd, the final performance of the Japan tour, on the second day at Budokan in 1975. Contains new sources at the time that were suddenly uploaded to the internet in May 2011 and had not been available until then. This treasured sound source, which was only given to a few friends, was recorded at the time using Sony’s legendary high-spec cassette deck “Densuke” and a monaural microphone at a position of about 10 meters in front of the PA speakers in the right block of Budokan Arena. It is said that it was done. This is a version that was remastered by the person who recorded it in later years. Due to the tape change, there is a gap at 7:39 of “Stormy Monday”, the intro of “Badge” is slightly cut in, and the same song at 1:50 and “Further On Up The Road” Although there is a drawback that there is a skip at the 5:59 mark, this sound source, which saw the light of day in 2011 after 36 years, is probably due to the artist’s decision to release it. It has high sound quality. In this take, we have performed appropriate remastering to further improve the quality of the sound without sacrificing the charm of the original sound. We improved the balance of the sound image, where the bass range was too emphasized in the original master, and brought out the high range clearly, eliminating the muffled sound and transforming the sound quality to be much easier to listen to. It is as if a veil has been torn off, and the quality is so rich that there is no problem even if it is released as a press CD. Whether you have the previously released version or downloaded it at the time, why not take this opportunity to experience this wonderful recording and experience the high quality of this sound source? In particular, this edition is a remastered and excellent master, so it is a sound source that is worth listening to. Live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 2nd November 1975 TRULY AMAZING SOUND Disc 1 1.
