Description

We have an amazing lineup of amazing live footage of Eric Clapton’s latest European performance, which is a must-see for fans! Following his 3 consecutive performances in London last month, Clapton energetically performed 4 consecutive performances in Europe this month as well, but this video is a 104 minute long video of the Berlin performance on June 4th, which was the first day, with screenshots from beginning to end. This is a complete recording. What is surprising is that in the often recorded screenshots, the screen is distorted and becomes trapezoidal depending on the angle from the intended audience seat, and the image itself is distorted, or even the outside of the screen frame is captured, or because of the angle from which you are looking up at the screen. While there are many movies where the angle is unstable from start to finish and the screen shakes, or the stage lighting causes the screen to lose color and become a sepia color, this video has no distortion or color loss, and the screen is viewed almost from the front. It’s about capturing the entire frame properly. In other words, it is the same as the official pro shot video of the concert. Therefore, you can watch the entire movie with a multi-camera work that will not let you get bored, such as close-up shots of Clapton, as well as close-ups of band members and instruments playing solos. What’s even more amazing is that it was firmly fixed on a tripod and completely recorded without any blurring. Regarding the audio, although it contains some hall noise, it is a stereo audience recording that can be said to be sufficiently good and has been recorded without any trouble. This video is really amazing. It is said that the set list on this first day was a day with a lower degree of surprise and lack of freshness compared to Tokyo in April and London in May, but there was actually a great surprise. For the last regular set and encore of the day, up-and-coming jazz fusion guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel jumped in. Speaking of Kurt Rosenwinkel, he is an American guitarist whose technique was highly praised by Clapton and who even participated in his album. It can be said that it is a valuable piece that gives you a slightly different taste from the session with John Mayer and the session with Jimmie Vaughan at the London performance in May. It’s also a blessing to be able to see it in professional shots. Before the band appeared for the encore, there was a section where the photographer was filming the venue, which meant that the shooting was done from the first floor stand seats about 45 degrees to the right of the stage. It turns out. In other words, it was probably a position where the screen at the top right of the stage could be seen from the front. Also, it can be seen that there was no thank-you greeting in which all the members bowed in a line with Clapton in the center, which is always done on this day. Clapton himself seemed to be in a good mood with Rosenwinkel’s participation, but it is a mystery why Clapton did not do this. This is a special DVD that allows you to watch the first day of the latest European performance as if you were watching an official live video, without getting bored until the end.
