Description
This DVD features a soundboard recording of the band’s second show in Tokyo, the Nakano Sun Plaza performance on November 17th, and the fourth show of the tour, the Sapporo Koseinenkin Hall performance on November 20th, both from a concert backed by the Confederates. While these recordings are direct-from-the-board recordings recently released by those involved, they lack a certain live presence, making up for it in the quality of the band’s sound, allowing you to clearly hear every detail. The DVD features a wide selection of classic hits from the band’s early ’70s to its more recent albums, “King of America” and “Blood and Chocolate.” The lineup also includes a robust lineup of bands unique to this period, including Nick Lowe, who also served as opening act, as well as familiar names like James Burton and Jim Keltner. Although the Sapporo performance only includes the first song and the last few songs are not included, the Tokyo performance includes the entire concert in full, making it the first soundboard live performance from this Japan tour. Above all, live recordings with the Confederates are rarely available, making this a rare commemorative item. DISC 1 : 1. Less Than Zero/2. That’s How You Got Killed Before/3.
