Description
The 1992 Japan tour, which was the first time in 20 years, had a total of 8 performances due to the overwhelming response. The first day will be at Kawasaki Bunka Kaikan on September 10th, Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall on the 11th, Nagoya City Public Hall on the 12th, and Osaka Welfare Pension Hall on the 14th. We had a busy schedule, returning to Tokyo on the 16th to perform at the Showa Women’s Otomi Memorial Auditorium, and from the 17th to the 19th at Shibuya Public Hall… The final 4-disc set “BLACK MOON IN TOKYO” contained the last two performances, but this work is a no-no for those who think “that’s not enough!” This is the audience album for the “September 16 Hitomi Memorial Auditorium Performance” which is the 5th tour to Japan (2nd time in Tokyo)! This work is also recorded by the same taper as “BLACK MOON IN TOKYO”, and uses the original master provided by the artist directly. There was a plan to make a 6-disc set including this work, but we decided against it because we wanted to maintain a sense of unity with “same venue every day”. However, even though he was removed, the taper’s skill is as proven by “BLACK MOON IN TOKYO”. This work is also a wonderful first-class sound. Since it is the same tour, the set list and arrangement are exactly the same as “BLACK MOON IN TOKYO”. And the audience on this day was also enthusiastic. Due to the great response, additional performances were announced again and again, and the Japan tour was expanded to 8 performances in total. The originally announced dates were 2 performances at Shibuya Koukaido for “BLACK MOON IN TOKYO” and 9 performances for this work. It was only the 16th performance at Hitomi Memorial Auditorium. In other words, this was also a night where the fiercest people who had won the ticket battle gathered together. However, compared to the two performances of Shibuko on Friday and Saturday, the competition ratio on this day, which was a weekday Wednesday, may have been slightly lower. However, because of this, there is a large number of repeat viewers who say, “I will watch it as many times as I want, no matter what!” Perhaps because of this, the atmosphere at the venue was a bit less intense, with the once-in-a-lifetime excitement of “I’m betting on this day!” replaced by a mood of thoroughly enjoying the music. Although it is slightly different from “BLACK MOON IN TOKYO,” it is still filled with a deep sense of anticipation. As I wrote earlier, this is a two-disc set that is very close to “BLACK MOON IN TOKYO” in terms of music and acoustics. Therefore, although the quality of the contents is sure to satisfy even beginners, I have no choice but to recommend it to enthusiasts who are not satisfied with the 4-disc set…It’s a total waste… It would be best to write, “Recommended for those who want to listen to the enthusiasm of 23 years ago as many times as possible with super high-quality live music!”, but I’ll say it. Even if you are satisfied with the 4-disc set, please have this work even if it is just for now. If you miss this opportunity, you may never get to hear this wonderful recording. That would be too lonely. And when the day comes to listen to it, you’ll think, “Wow, Hitomi Memorial Auditorium was amazing, too.” Live at Hitomi Memorial Hall, Tokyo, Japan 16th September 1992 PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1(54:40) 1.
