Introducing a live album from the 1979 Japan tour that sums up the golden 70s. Before disbanding, EAGLES visited Japan twice in the 1970s, and this work was performed on the second day of their second visit to Japan in conjunction with their last album “THE LONG RUN” “September 18, 1979, Nippon Budokan” Audience album containing performances. Here, let’s take a look at the overview of the 1979 Japan Tour. ・September 17, 1979: Nippon Budokan ・September 18, 1979: Nippon Budokan [This work] ・September 19, 1979: Nippon Budokan ・September 21, 1979: Nagoya City International Exhibition Center ・1979 September 22nd: Osaka Expo Commemoration Park Festival Square ・September 25th, 1979: Nippon Budokan As you can see, 4 out of 6 times were held at Nippon Budokan, and this year’s titles are full of “At Budokan.” However, this work is the second time. On this day, “GONNA LAST FOREVER (ZION-026)”, which appeared four years ago, reigns as the king of the big decision board, but this work is a different recording from that. However, it is not just a separate recording, but a super sound that boasts a sound that comes close to that super masterpiece. The clarity and beauty of the musical tone are exactly on par with “GONNA LAST FOREVER”. I feel that “GONNA LAST FOREVER” is superior in terms of stability and freshness, but this work may be better in terms of bass richness and direct feeling. Given that it is such a super album, why did we decide to introduce it now? That’s…the voice of a child grumbling on the side of the taper comes in. When I write this, you might think that it’s full of super high-quality grumbling voices, but that’s not the case. He was quiet for most of the concert, no different from the speaking voices in regular audience recordings. However, even if it is not noticeable in an adult’s voice, it becomes noticeable in a child’s voice. Especially when it comes to Japanese venues where people listen quietly… However, it seems that this child was not simply taken. The biggest part is the intro of “Hotel California” that decorates the beginning, but he says “Eh, first!?” and sings the chorus together in “Life In The Fast Lane”. Apparently, they came to the concert simply because they really liked the album “HOTEL CALIFORNIA”. EAGLES from 37 years ago, which even children loved. This is also a realistic document of the time and place. Children’s voices are very picky and disliked, so I cannot recommend this to those who don’t like them, but for those who find it funny, this two-disc set promises the best sound and concerts. A high-quality, unique disc that is unique among the many EAGLES recordings. Please take this opportunity to try it.
