Description
From the European tour accompanying “Brothers In Arms” in 1985, Germany completely recorded the Stuttgart performance for 2 hours and 10 minutes with the highest level audience recording. The previously released Boston performance on October 6th was also recorded with great sound, but this edition is also recorded with the ultimate level of sound as an audience recording at the time, comparable to that. This is a rare sound source that has never been released in the past, and contains a digital copy from the master tape. The drums and keyboards are especially clearly recorded, allowing you to enjoy high-quality ensemble play with a unique sound, including a rich guitar with just the right amount of echo, in a crisp sound image. Although the sound image makes you feel a little distanced from the stage, the musical tones themselves are recorded in high quality with clear points, so you won’t feel stressed while listening. The sound is a bit crisp, with the hi-hat emphasizing the treble range, but these were originally recorded that way. Between songs, you can feel the presence of the venue, but the musical tones are recorded very clearly and on, and the performance is not disturbed by the cheers. There is also a wonderful sense of separation of the overall sound, and you can enjoy many of the wonderful solo plays of each member with a powerful sound image. A super high quality live performance consisting of the “Best of Dire Straits” numbers, filled with the colorful sounds of the mid-80s, including the huge hits Money For Nothing and Walk Of Life. This is recommended. Live at Hanns-Martin-Schleyerhalle, Stuttgart, Germany 19th November 1985 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Disc 1 1. Ride Across The River 2. Expresso Love 3. One World 4. Romeo & Juliet 5.
