Description

A live recording of Derek and the Dominos, which Eric Clapton considers to be the best band of his career, was recently uploaded to DIME in late August, including a surprising take that will be released for the first time in Japan. ! Moreover, it is a crisp stereo sound board and master quality that is comparable to the sound quality of the official live version. Clapton enthusiasts, please take a close look at the track list and credits. You can see that it is different from the content that was released underground in the past, which was simply a collection of takes that were not included in the official live albums “IN CONCERT” and “LIVE AT THE FILLMORE”. Complete versions of both late shows at the Fillmore East on October 23 and 24, 1970, which became the basis for the Dominos’ official live album, and some live takes of the early show on October 23 have been released in the past. However, they did not include the Blues Power of the October 23rd early show recorded on this board. This genuine take will be the first appearance and the first excavation. In that case, I’m curious about the identity of the person who uploaded this sound source to DIME just from this one song. Who could have uploaded such a sound source? It seems that it was probably an engineer or staff member at the time who was able to obtain a copy of the original master related to Dominos’ Fillmore. In addition, the mix difference from the 23rd take was mixed into the 24th set, so the true late show take of Bottle Of Red Wine on the 24th, which had been misunderstood and believed to be the 24th take for many years, was It finally saw the light of day this year, and this person has been generously picking it up. In other words, it is thought that “he” is the person who has the master tape of the early show on the 23rd and the master tape of the late show on the 23rd & 24th. Even enthusiasts who have collected all of Dominos’ Fillmore Live releases will not be able to ignore this one. Moreover, if you are a general Clapton fan, you will be able to truly enjoy this album, where you can listen to improvisational play and performance that is different from the official live edition. Although it is an “outtake”, it contains a tremendous performance that can be said to have been deleted from the official edition because the performance was inferior. Clapton, playing and singing, and the flaming Dominos are here too. If you listen to it first, you will be convinced. We have lined up a surprising “Fillmore Outtakes” compilation that will attract even enthusiasts! For those who have “IN CONCERT” and “LIVE AT THE FILLMORE”, this board will be a must-have item, and if you are a Clapton fan, it will be a sound source that you can never avoid. ★Corrected the pitch which is over 20% higher than a semitone.
