Description

In 2011, DEF LEPPARD released their first full live album “MIRROR BALL” and performed in Japan for the first time in three years. The world’s first original recording that conveys the scene is now available. This work includes the “November 5, 2011 Grand Cube Osaka” performance. This is the best audience recording. The biggest point of this work is the sound quality that far exceeds the common sense of the audience, but first of all the position of the show. Let’s look back at the overall picture of the world tour at that time. [“MIRROR BALL” released on June 3rd]・June 7th-10th: UK #1 (3 performances)・June 17th-July 5th: North America #1 (12 performances)・July 27th -September 24th: North America #2 (35 performances) ・October 12th-29th: Oceania (8 performances) ・November 5th-8th: Japan (3 performances) ←★Here★・December 6th -14th: UK #2 (6 performances) This is DEF LEPPARD in 2011. It was definitely a world tour that crossed the ocean, but if you look closely, it was also a tour limited to popular centers such as Britain, America, Oceania, and Japan. Under such circumstances, the Osaka performance of this work was the first day of the “Japan” performance set at the end of the tour. This work recorded at such a show is an Odins recording that depicts the very best. The applause and tone between songs have the feel of a guest record, but the important performance sounds and vocals are soundboard class. The extra-thick core reaches your hand without any sense of distance, and along with that, the details are super clear down to the smallest details. The reason for this is, of course, the tapered arm. After all, this work is a treasured collection by the “strongest taper in Western Japan”. 2011 seems like a long time ago, but in fact, it was around this time that the average of the “strongest” collections skyrocketed. Although there were masterpieces before that, these were masterpieces from a period of growth when “almost all of them were masterpieces.” What is depicted with such a thick direct sound is a full show that is similar to but different from the official version “MIRROR BALL”. Their previous visit to Japan in 2008 was a joint performance with WHITESNAKE, so it was their first solo performance in nine years. Here, let’s organize the set while comparing it with the official version. 80’s (15 songs)・HIGH ‘N’ DRY: Bringin’ On The Heartbreak/Switch 625・PYROMANIA: Foolin’/Too Late For Love/Photograph/Rock Of Ages/Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)・HYSTERIA: Animal/Women (★)/Love Bites/Rocket/Gods of War (★)/Hysteria/Armageddon It/ Pour Some Sugar On Me 90’s onwards (7 songs)・ADRENALIZE: Let’s Get Rocked/Make Love Like a Man・RETRO ACTIVE: Two Steps Behind・VAULT: When Love And Hate Collide (★)・SLANG: Slang (★)・SONGS FROM THE SPARKLE LOUNGE: C’mon C’mon・MIRROR BALL: Undefeated (★) *Note: “★” The marked songs are songs that cannot be heard on “MIRROR BALL: LIVE & MORE”. …and it looks like this. The composition is based on the golden 80’s repertoire, and includes a wide variety of representative songs from the 90’s onwards. The repertoire that was not heard on “MIRROR BALL” is 5 songs, and a wider selection including the new song “Undefeated”, “When Love And Hate Collide” and “Slang”. “C’mon C’mon”, which was the rarest song in “MIRROR BALL”, is also played. This is a full live album that is the Japanese version of “MIRROR BALL” and is also an on-site trial version. This is a superlative album that records the greatest hits of the artist’s career in his first solo performance in nine years. The best audience recording of the “November 5, 2011 Grand Cube Osaka” performance. This is a treasured collection by “West Japan’s Strongest Taper”, who is well known at our store, and the performance sound and vocals are truly soundboard class. The extra-thick core reaches your hand without any sense of distance, and along with that, the details are super clear down to the smallest details. In addition to the new song “Undefeated,” you can enjoy plenty of famous songs that can’t be heard on the official version of “MIRROR BALL,” such as “Women,” “Gods of War,” “When Love And Hate Collide,” and “Slang.” Live at Grand Cube, Osaka, Japan 5th November 2011 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1 (51:09) 1.
