Description
A new masterpiece is born from the increasingly re-evaluated “THE HOUSE OF BLUE LIGHT Tour”! This superb live album, which allows you to fully experience the masterpiece that was the basis of the traditional work “NOBODY’S PERFECT”, has been decided to be permanently preserved! This work was recorded on “Oslo performance on August 22, 1987”. This is the best audience recording. Speaking of 1987, our shop also has fresh memories of the British trilogy “WEMBLEY 1987”, “WEMBLEY 1987 2ND NIGHT” and “EDINBURGH 1987”. Let’s look back on the schedule at that time to understand the situation of that edition. 1987 {January 12th “THE HOUSE OF BLUE LIGHT” released} January 26th – February 28th: Europe #1 (22 shows) March 3rd – March 8th: UK (5 shows) *UK trilogy April 15th – May 30th: North America #1 (28 shows) *Official NOBODY’S PERFECT {May 30th: Ritchie injures his left hand} August 19th – September 7th: Europe #2 (12 shows) *Official NOBODY’S PERFECT 1988 {June “NOBODY’S PERFECT” released} July 31st: Appearance at MONSTERS OF ROCK ITALY August 11th + 16th: North America #2 (2 shows) September 9th – 29th: Europe #3 (14 shows) This is DEEP PURPLE in the “THE HOUSE OF BLUE LIGHT” era. The Oslo performance of this work was immediately after the resumption of the tour that had been interrupted due to Richie’s injury. It was the second concert of “Europe # 2”. The UK trilogy was at the beginning of the tour, but the official “NOBODY’S PERFECT” was produced from the five subsequent performances of “North America # 1” and “Europe # 2”. Let’s check the breakdown here. North America # 1 May 23: Irvine performance (4 full songs) May 30: Phoenix performance (3 full songs + 1 part song) Europe # 2 August 22: Oslo performance (3 full songs + 2 parts songs) ← ★ This work ★ September 4: Milan performance (1 full song) September 6: Verona (1 part song) … and so on. Although it was recorded from five performances, it was not even, and the main performances were Irvine and Oslo (this work). You can see how convincing and fulfilling it was. This work, which completely records such a show, is an exquisite masterpiece. This is the 2nd generation master that was recently excavated from the prestigious “Krw_co”, but it is clear, dense and beautiful. If you want to compare it to a recent title, it’s somewhere between “EDINBURGH 1987” and “WEMBLEY 1987 2ND NIGHT”. The sense of space is closer to the former, and the stability and beauty are closer to the latter. If you have experienced either of these two works, you will understand that it is a masterpiece that will impress you with how many famous recordings come out in succession on one tour. Moreover, this work is the highest peak that has been polished by meticulous mastering of such original sounds. For example, pitch. Perhaps it went wrong when it was digitized from cassette, but the pitch was different depending on the surface, and it was especially fast from the start of the show to “Lazy”. Furthermore, in terms of sound, the original sound on the net is extremely high-rise. Our shop has handled countless DEEP PURPELE titles so far, and we are well-acquainted with the characteristics of the sound output. While making the most of the original sound and precision, the “1987 on-site sound” is reproduced as accurately as possible. Such a neat sound depicts the (almost) full show that should be called “the core of NOBODY’S PERFECT”. Of course, since it is the analog cassette era, there are recording omissions such as tape changes, but most of them are between songs. To be precise, the only part that is missing a performance sound is the last jump of “Lazy”. However, the whole view is different from “NOBODY’S PERFECT”. Finally, let’s organize it by comparing. 70’s Classics Machine Head: Highway Star/Lazy/Space Truckin’ (★)/Smoke On The Water (★) Others: Black Night (☆)/Child In Time (☆)/Strange Kind Of Woman/Woman From Tokyo Reunion Era Perfect Strangers: Perfect Strangers/Knocking At Your Backdoor House of Blue Light: The Unwritten Law (*)/Dead Or Alive/Hard Lovin’ Woman (★)/Bad Attitude Others: Difficult To Cure (*) *Note: “★” marks songs that were fully adopted in “NOBODY’S PERFECT” and “☆” marks songs that were used partially. “*” marks songs that could not be heard in “NOBODY’S PERFECT”. Even though “MADE IN JAPAN” is a symbol of their first visit to Japan in 1972, the on-site audience recording was also wonderful. This work is the 80’s version of that. The masterpiece with the most songs adopted for “NOBODY’S PERFECT”. This is a live album that allows you to experience the scene with 100% real audience sound. A new masterpiece that has jumped out beyond the time and space of 35 years since the actual performance. The best audience recording of the “Oslo performance on August 22, 1987”, which was also the main performance of “NOBODY’S PERFECT”. The 2nd generation master excavated from the prestigious “Krw_co”, it is simply clear and dense, and the sound is beautiful. The core that penetrates the center of the atmosphere is powerful and responsive, and the stability and beauty of the sound are also wonderful. Moreover, it is the highest peak polished by meticulous mastering. The pitch, which was fast from the start of the performance to “Lazy”, is accurate, and the extremely high-rise sound is faithful to the sound output at the scene. This is a new masterpiece that allows you to experience the masterpiece that became the backbone of the official “NOBODY’S PERFECT” in full on-site.
