This full recording of the December 3rd performance in Gothenburg, Sweden, from the 1988 Euro tour accompanying the release of his second solo album, “SKYSCRAPER,” is available in 1 hour and 47 minutes, recorded from a recently released, excellent audience master recording. Following his previous album, he was touring the world with Steve Vai at his side, and the set, centered around six tracks from that album, includes solo numbers and, of course, VH numbers, marking the peak of his solo career. Two months prior to this, he also toured Japan with 11 shows, featuring a similar set, and his pairing with Vai was dissolved at the end of that tour, so there are plenty of highlights to be found.
