Finally, the big decisive board of “RATTLE THAT LOCK TOUR” has arrived. “RATTLE THAT LOCK TOUR” has attracted attention since its start as the first solo tour in nine years, and has been reported in our shop with many masterpiece recordings. All the live albums we have delivered so far have been press-class masterpieces, but finally a masterpiece that even surpasses that dimension has been born. This is the live album “Wroclaw performance on June 25, 2016 (Poland)” sealed on CD. What is different from the masterpieces so far and what is so special about this work? There are several points, but the biggest reason is the sound. This work contains a full show of the Wroclaw performance on three discs, but each one has a slightly different point, so we will introduce them separately for each disc. [Disc 1: Part 1] The show of “RATTLE THAT LOCK TOUR” is composed of two parts, and disc 1 contains the first part. This first part was broadcast on television, and this work contains the stereo sound board sound source. However, this is not just a sound board. We have already introduced the television broadcast, but this work is richer and more realistic than that sound. The secret is the matrix between the sound board and the finest audience. Our shop has collaborated with a world-renowned master of FLOYD research and has provided only first-class sound sources, but this work is a project by that master. From the broadcast, it was a rare finest sound board even in modern digital broadcasting, but the master himself finished it by matrixing it with the finest audience. Of course, since he is a researcher who has dedicated his life to FLOYD research, the finish is different from a simple layered matrix. Not only is the straight ball feeling of the sound board and the realism of the audience fused, but even a single guitar has a rich tone, a stereoscopic effect, a deep sound, and a delicate sound…all of that is different. At first I was going to write “official-class soundboard”, but no matter what official work it is, I have never heard such a sound. It is a dimension of “sound art” that only maniacs who have bet their lives can create. I have handled countless sound sources of many bands, but how many high-dimensional ones have there been so far? It is definitely an abnormal music board that competes for 1st and 2nd in all the titles of our shop. The Wroclaw performance depicted with that sound is also a special show with no two. In fact, this day was a feast with the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra. The beauty of the show was also enjoyed on TV, but the sense of space created by the matrix has made the spectacle jump dozens of times. The rock guitar and beats alone are more than enough three-dimensional, but the beautiful melody of the strings fills the gaps in the space with that as a framework. The matrix not only produces the spaciousness of the space, but also raises the density to a different level. [Disc 2 & 3: Part 2 + Encore] Unlike the first part, which was broadcast on TV, this second part + encore is a single audience recording. You might think, “Well, if you can hear the whole show, it’s no use for the audience,” but in fact, that’s not the point. As with Disc 1, a world-renowned master completed the mastering and provided it, but this sound is also of a different dimension. When it comes to audience recording, I usually start talking about “thick musical tones, positions, etc.”, but it’s not that level anymore. The audience noise at the beginning seems to be the kind of thing that would be recorded in the audience, but the moment the bass of “One Of These Days” started to flow, my whole body froze. It’s an intense, superb sound that is not even possible in an official live work. The “RATTLE THAT LOCK TOUR” up to this point was all famous recordings that expanded the limits of audience recording, but even if those masterpieces were to be challenged together, it would not be a match. The master also gave it the stamp of approval as “the best of 2015 and 2016,” but in fact, even when listening to it side by side with Disc 1 of the other-dimensional matrix, there is no inferiority at all. It is no longer something that should be discussed in terms of methodology such as “sound board or audience,” and it is a dimension that should not be discussed. It is a sound that reaches the pinnacle of “concert recording.” I am truly sorry for taking the time to list all the exaggerated words that I do not understand. But what words should I use to describe this sound… In fact, it is an “audience recording,” but it is a rich and exquisite sound world that cannot be found on a sound board or official. At first, when the master told me, “Disc 1 was matrixed with a sound board. The rest is the audience,” I only thought, “What a strange thing to do.” However, once you know this recording, you can understand why you want to do it. Even the super-core maniacs who have been familiar with all the past sound sources from around the world touched a recording that they had never heard before, and by chance the same concert was broadcast on television as well. When faced with this coincidence, it makes you want to pull up the peak. How amazing will it be? You want to see the top. If you liken that psychology to mountain climbing, it was like a world-class adventurer knowing a mountain bigger than Everest and facing the top. I wrote it down quickly, but I think you will probably pay attention to “One Of These Days”. It is a historic super masterpiece and Gilmour’s solo premiere. In principle, every word should be used for this one song. However, even with such a super important performance, it does not reach the awesomeness of this abnormal sound. The first part raised the best sound board to another dimension, the second part + encore that overturned the sound source life. At first glance, it seems unnatural to be a live album, but this is a “music board” that could only be created by a world authority. It is a three-disc set that brings out the true value of recording and music. After the tour, an official live album may be planned. However, even if it does, it will not reach this work.
