Description

A masterpiece live album recorded by the British master is now available. “Master” is a taper who lives in England and is a famous recording artist who always provides us with many of the finest British rock sound sources. They offer countless collections including Paul McCartney, THE ROLLING STONES, Dave Gilmour, U2, etc. Even if you are not aware of who Taper is, I think you have probably come across some of them. On the contrary, he is familiar to customers who are conscious of taper music, and he is a master among masters, with many regular fans saying, “I don’t know much about this band, but I would love to hear his work.” Usually, he mainly provides the latest recordings, but the master is actually a big fan of Bowie. This work was delivered to him by selecting a masterpiece from his vast Bowie collection. The masterpiece of such a famous recording artist is an audience album containing “August 12, 1997 Shepherd’s Bush Empire Performance”. Of course, this is a direct CD version of the actual master that the master himself brought to a traditional British venue and recorded. The sound is amazing. Although a number of masterpieces have proven that he is a master recording artist, the sound of this work is not a reliable brand… Even among the collections that have continued to increase in reputation, it is by far the most wonderful. No matter what you say, the most powerful thing is the direct feeling. Although the lively cheers of the audience have been recorded, the closeness of the musical tones is far from that, and once the performance begins, it is thick like a sound board. Moreover, there is no reaction that seems like a reaction, and it is a tremendous direct connection. When it comes to works by great masters, it’s delicious to have a “feeling of experience” that includes everything from the size of the venue to the atmosphere, but the sound of this work is so much more than just the space, it makes me want to ask, “Did you record it while standing next to Bowie?” I see, it’s very recent. Especially amazing is the deep bass. The bass range is an eternal issue for the audience, but in this work, it is a big and glossy sound. Although it is powerful, it does not scare you. Of course, it is not filled with bass, but the midrange and high range that ride on top of it shine fresh, and Bowie’s singing voice also penetrates. It’s such a luxurious sound. “1997 Bowie” drawn with that sound is also amazing. This work is part of the “EARTHLING TOUR 1997″, and the digital sound that boldly incorporates drum’n’bass/jungle is striking. 7 out of 10 songs from the then new album “EARTHLING” will be performed along with classics from the past, and its dynamism is even greater than the album. Even if it is the type of ensemble that can give off an inorganic feel if done poorly, the vivid and blunt recording allows for a powerful rock feel to burst out of the speakers with plenty of physical sensation. Bowie said of “EARTHLING” that “we vacuum-packed the exciting harvest obtained from the previous “OUTSIDE TOUR”,” but the live performance was such that the excitement returned to the stage and exploded even more. Unfortunately, “EARTHLING TOUR 1997” was not left in the official record and there was no Japanese performance, but the truth was so amazing…. It’s a live album that I’m only now realizing. A British master who is a big Bowie fan and a world-renowned recording artist. The one he provided to me, selected from his treasured collection, was a wonderful sound world that made me think that the goddess of recording was smiling down on me. The world of “EARTHLING TOUR 1997” was able to be captured because he loved, knew, and followed Bowie. A superb live album that surpasses even the soundboard and is at the level of an official work. Please take this opportunity to enjoy it to the fullest. Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London, UK 12th August 1997 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1(69:45) 1. Intro: “Heroes” 2.
