Description

The performance at the Royal Festival Hall in London on July 8, 1972 and the Hard Rock Club performance in Manchester on December 28 of the same year are both recorded with good audience recordings. Both performances have been carefully remastered and many noises have been removed, making them much easier to listen to than the original sounds. The London performance is a good one that ranks high among the audience recordings of the time, and on this day, the last three songs of the show (White Light White Heat, Waiting For The Man, Sweet Jane) are the first collaboration with Lou Reed. This is definitely a must-have item for fans. At the Manchester performance held at the end of 1972, the usual S.E. (Ode To Joy) did not play at the beginning of the show, and you could listen to an unusual opening in which Mick Ronson played the melody. You can also enjoy a lively performance that symbolizes the glam rock movement of the time.
