An almost complete recording of the San Diego performance on September 11th, which was the final stage of the 1974 “Diamond Dog” tour, from a good audience master that could be said to be A-rank at the time. First of all, there will be an official live performance from this tour called “DAVID LIVE” which records the Philadelphia performance, but it is an edited version of the 5 performances from July 8th to 12th, and there were problems with the recording even up to the day. It was also reported that there was a review, and the content was said to be unsatisfactory. This performance took place about two months later, and the backing performance became tighter, and it was a great performance that conveyed that Bowie’s singing was also filled with soul. In addition, it corresponds to the transition period between this Diamond Dog Tour and the Soul Tour and Philly Dog Tour immediately after that, and there are some changes in the set list, such as “It’s Gonna Be Me”. It has been added, and the impression is quite different from the official one. The 1974 tour was renamed the “Soul Tour” from the following October, and the set list and arrangement changed drastically, becoming closer to “Young Americans,” and the stage changed from a theatrical stage to a more performance-based one.
