Daryl Hall, whose joint tour with Todd Rundgren in 2023 was well-received, will begin a joint US tour with Elvis Costello in June 2024. The live performance at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles on June 18th was recorded in full from the digital audience master released by Taper. First of all, some of the sets were replaced from the previous year’s visit to Japan, and the show started with “Maneater”, which was not included in the Japan performance. After that, from “Out of Touch” and “Everytime You Go Away” to “Sarah Smile”, from the representative songs of the Hall & Oates era to solo numbers, it is a masterpiece that brings back that excitement, although it is a slightly shorter set than usual.
