Description
This new release features a complete recording of a special gig held in Manchester in January 2026, where the band played every track from their latest album, “NOT LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE,” in high-quality digital PCM stereo audience recording! Following the release of their 12th studio album, “DARKADELIC,” in 2023—their first in five years since “EVIL SPIRITS”—and their Japan tour in March 2024, this new recording captures the entirety of their latest album, “NOT LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE,” recorded in just five days immediately after the end of their 2025 US tour, specifically from the live performance held at the Manchester Albert Hall on January 28, 2026, in high-quality digital PCM stereo audience recording! The latest album is a cover album dedicated to Brian James, featuring songs that influenced Brian and the band, performed in the same order as the album’s tracklist. This new album marks The Damned’s first recording in 30 years, featuring the original 80s lineup of drummer Rat Scabies, Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, and Paul Gray, joined by keyboardist Monty Oxymoron, who joined on the 2001 album “GRAVE DISORDER.” The album includes all tracks from their latest album “NOT LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE,” as well as the Jefferson Airplane cover “White Rabbit,” released only in France and Germany in 1980, the 1986 single “Eloise,” “Disco Man” from the 1981 EP “FRIDAY 13TH,” and finally, the Stooges cover “1970”—all in their entirety without any cuts!
