Description
“CREAM / THE LAST GOODBYE CREAM (The Wonderful Days of Cream)” is back in stock in a new standard jewel case. First of all, this title is a compilation of the soundboard recordings from Cream’s last tour in 1968, all in official level sound recorded from a full multi-track master. The soundboard recordings from this farewell tour, which have been distributed in various places up to now, were recorded directly from a newly excavated recording source that was thought to no longer exist, and the quality is at a level that could be released as an official bootleg as it is. The perfectly mixed sound is recorded with perfect separation and positioning of the band sound, including the vocals, which is unique to multi-track masters. The contents are as follows: Disc 1 is the Oakland performance on October 4th from the final North American tour, and some of the live takes from that day are known to have been used in the official live album “LIVE CREAM VOL.2”. Disc 2, the Los Angeles performance on October 19th, is partly an official release and was used on the final album “GOODBYE CREAM”, and three of the tracks are new recordings. Disc 3, the San Diego performance on October 20th, is a performance that is simply hot, with wild action that is unthinkable for Clapton these days, intense drum fills, and Jack’s bass phrases that are more assertive than the singing, and six of these tracks are also new recordings. The last disc, disc 4, is Cream’s final performance, the late show at the Royal Albert Hall on November 26th, which will be making its world debut with the late show, which will be performed by the group’s first solo album, “Goodbye Cream”. Complete recording with soundboard sound source from Ruchitrack Master. While the early show has been known as an official one, the late show’s soundboard full live is a miraculous excavation sound source, and it is recorded perfectly from John Peel’s announcement at the opening. And it is more energetic and powerful than the official one, with Jack Bruce’s cool bass line, Ginger Baker inciting with two basses, Clapton just playing, and especially “Sunshine Of Your Love” are heavy and heated performances that can be said to be different from Clapton’s solo afterwards, and the stage full of tension that is worthy of decorating the beauty of the end is reproduced here perfectly.
