Description

This is the first release of a newly unearthed and extremely rare recording of a gig held in October 1983 at the famous CBGB with new guitarist Ike Knox, completely recorded in very good stereo audience recording!!! The set list includes the rare number “Five Years Ahead Of My Time” and “Sunglasses After Dark” with Ike Knox’s fuzz guitar going wild, and only four songs overlap with the already introduced “OO-MA-LIDDI” which was recorded at a gig held in Canada four days earlier!!! The high notes are strong, but the recordings are very well balanced and clear, and you can enjoy the most crazy sound that realistically records the excitement of the live performance, including the cheers of the audience!!! Ike Knox, who is also the cousin of drummer Nick Knox, was only with the band for about nine months, so live recordings from this period are very rare, and the sound quality is also very good, making this a must-listen for Cramps enthusiasts along with “OO-MA-LIDDI”!!! 01.New Kind Of Kick 02.Thee Most Exalted Potentate Of Love 03.Call Of The Wighat 04.Goo Goo Muck 05.Good Taste 06.The Natives Are Restless 07.Five Years Ahead Of My Time 08.Weekend On Mars Riff Song 09.Zombie Dance 10.Mystery Plane 11.Sunglasses After Dark 12.G arbageman 13.Strychnine 14.Psychotic Reaction 15.Drug Train 〈CBGB,NYC, November 7,1983〉 Lux Interior – vocals Poison Ivey – guitar Ike Knox – bass
