“Trilogy 2” was released for the first time in five years, following the Grammy-winning first album “Trilogy” in 2013 by Trilogy, a trio in which Chick teamed up with Christian McBride and Brian Blade, two of today’s best players. A great performance by the popular trio to close out 2019! ! The long-awaited performance in Japan was held in April 2019, and it is still fresh in my memory that they captured the hearts of many fans. The first and second set performances were held at Strathmore Music Hall in North Bethesda, Maryland on October 30th, which will be the culmination live show that concludes 2019 of the trilogy, and both were carefully mastered by the label. A two-disc set has arrived, both completely recorded in the highest quality stereo sound! ! ! Chick Corea, Christian McBride, and Brian Blade started playing together in 2010, although they are not a regular trio as each member is a busy top player. The three of them have been actively co-starring together as long as their schedules agree, and as they are about to celebrate their 10th anniversary, the three of them work perfectly together, and the high-level interplay (trilogy) created by Aun’s breathing is wonderful.
