Description
A beautiful solo performance with one piano at the jazz festival “Jazz In Marcisc” held in France in August 1995 is recorded on a high-quality soundboard. He began his career around 1964 by collaborating with Blue Mitchell, Herbie Mann, and Mongo Santamaria, and in 1968 released his debut album, “Tones for Jones Bones,” at the age of 25. Chick Corea joined the Miles Davis Group in late 1968, replacing Herbie Hancock, and is still on his way to becoming a jazz legend. The composition is centered around standard songs, so you can enjoy the swing feel of mainstream jazz. Because he uses Yamaha pianos, Corea’s pianos have a dry, immediate sound that stands out for their mobility and agility. When I listen to performances like this, I sometimes get the strange feeling that he is the reincarnation of Mozart.
