Description
Recorded using broadcast sound source of the second day of the Budokan performance on April 27, 1987, Chicago’s fifth visit to Japan. This is the first performance in Japan after Peter Cetera left and Jason Sheff joined, but the number that had not been played in Peter-led Chicago in recent years has been revived, and it is a three-hour two-part performance. The parade of hit numbers was a splendid one that wiped away the fears of many Chicago fans. Of course, this time’s items were excerpted for broadcast, but include Hard To Say I’m Sorry / Get Away, which ranked #1 in the U.S., You’re the Inspiration, which ranked #3 in the U.S., Saturday in the ParkWill You Still Love Me?, Hard Habit to Break, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?, which ranked 10th in the US, and other hit singles make this the ultimate set list that will surely satisfy fans. After this, it is also nice to be able to listen to If She Would Have Been Faithful, which is rarely played. It goes without saying that the ensemble of sound craftsmen such as Jason, who played a major role, is wonderful, but Dwayne’s gem of a guitar play, which is comparable to Graydon and Lukather, is a must-listen! Perfect for solo and backing. This tour was able to perform freely with the three horn members wirelessly, so it seems to have become a visually gorgeous and wonderful show. An impeccable entertainment show full of the charm of the new Chicago. Introducing a must-have item for all music fans. Live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 27th April 1987 STEREO SBD 1. 25 Or 6 To 4 2.
