Of the band’s final two shows in Japan in 2025, the final one was at Nippon Budokan. This full recording of their final live performance on October 1st, spanning 1 hour and 51 minutes, was taken from the digital audience master released via taper. And of course, the greatest hits live performance featured a parade of iconic ’70s hits from their debut album to “DREAM POLICE,” as well as “The Flame” from their ’80s comeback album “LAP OF LUXURY,” and even a new track, “Twelve Gates,” from their upcoming October album “ALL WASHED UP.” While the set was identical to the Osaka performance, it was inevitable that they would perform their final show here nearly 50 years after the smash hit “AT BUDOKAN,” making this a truly moving and memorable Japan-only release for fans.
