Description
Popular Charles Mingus. A live performance in the Netherlands on August 12, 1972 is recorded with a clear stereo soundboard. Rather than jazz rock or fusion, this is a long improvisation that is a must-see for jazz fans, pursuing Mingus’s own path without changing the style of yesteryear too much. A few days later, on August 28th, a live performance with Dexter Gordon on tenor saxophone was recorded as a bonus track. Please add it to your collection along with Mingus’ past titles from the same label.
